Bethlehem, Pa., (May 20, 2010) -The General Manager of the Historic Hotel Bethlehem, Dennis J. Costello, is pleased to announce that the hotel is the proud recipient of three of the 2010 “Who’s Who in Lehigh Valley Business” awards.
The “Who’s Who in Lehigh Valley Business” is chosen by residents of the Lehigh Valley. Polk-Lepson, a market research firm based in New York City, spends months conducting independent research and polling local residents to select this distinguished group of leaders in their field.
The hotel has been selected as the leader in the categories of; “Hotel”, “Banquet Facility” and “Fine Dining” for its “1741 on the Terrace” restaurant. Lehigh Valley Style magazine has sponsored this yearly survey of consumer preference for 27 years. “We’ve set high goals and are very conscientious about reaching them, so it’s nice to have this kind of affirmation” says Costello.
In addition to winning the “Who’s Who in the Lehigh Valley”, the Historic Hotel Bethlehem is also honored to be a recipient of the Expedia “Insider Select” designation. This award is reserved for only the top 1% of 114,000 hotels for consistently delivering superior service, exceptional guest experience, and notable value.
The hotel has once again been voted the Morning Call “Reader’s Choice Award” for Best Hotel. To complete this list of Hospitality Industry accolades, Historic Hotels of America recently recognized the hotel for achieving a 100% score for “Guest Experience”.
To compliment these awards, the hotel’s fine dining restaurant “1741 on the Terrace” has been honored with Wine Spectator’s esteemed “Award of Excellence” in addition to the “Diner’s Choice” award from Open Table. The Historic Hotel Bethlehem is a proud member of Historic Hotels of America on the site that has been warmly welcoming guests since 1741.
